Sports Therapy

Generally speaking, there are 2 types of injury in sports…The first is what are called acute traumatic injuries, things like fractures, sprains, strains, dislocations, contusion and concussion. These are usually caused by impact or lateral force, getting tackled in football for example, or falling from a skateboard.

The second type is overuse injuries, usually from repetitive movement, and include things like stress fractures, bursitis, tendonitis, muscle strains/tear, joint sprain.

All of these injuries are treated by our physical Therapist. Your return to an active lifestyle is our primary concern. We’ll work with you to help reduce pain and achieve your goals in a fun, friendly and encouraging environment.
